Bye Bye Butterflys and a Beautiful Day!

We are loving the beautiful weather!
We just finished a fun butterfly experiment. We watched them go from caterpillar to butterfly and then fed them oranges for a week or so and then let them go. The girls had fun saying goodbye.

We went to Uncle Eric's and Aunt Heather's house to walk around with the crazy cousins. :)



Lydia was so proud of being dressed up like piglet. She kept the hood on the entire time even though she could not see half the time. The kids had a great time and got more candy than we know what to do with. Lydia figured out how to stand close to the person handing out the candy, give a big smile, and hold out her hand getting as much candy as possible.

Pumpkin Carving...

Ellie and Lydia dug right in and helped dad remove all of the pumpkin seeds.

Pumpkin Patch!

Ellie has been looking forward to going to the pumpkin patch for awhile now. She points out the pumpkin patch farm every time we drive by it. She was soooo excited when we finally took her.

We went on a picnic this week. We are trying to enjoy the beautiful Texas weather while it lasts.
We love being outside!

Enjoying Our Girls...

The girls jump with joy and squeal in delight when we get to Saturday and we tell them it is Daddy Donut Day! Lately they have been going on a walk after there 10 donuts each. :)

The girls love to play with their doll that their Great Grandma Gunter made. Lydia has hit a fun new stage where she loves playing with dolls. It is fun to watch her be a little mommy.

Future Mustangs?

Nathan and I went to a Master's College alumni dinner last week and were given these shirts for our girls. They look super cute in them!
We are loving the cooler weather. The girls love being outside.

Gunter Jungle :)

The girls and I have had a lot of fun waking up in the morning to see what we have caught. :) After catching 2 neighborhood cats, we caught our first possum! When I sent Ellie in the first morning to see if we had caught anything, she started squealing saying, "Mommy we caught an animal!" She now knows what a possum is.



Next, we caught a raccoon. I was kind of grossed out watching the possums play, but I kind of grew fond of the raccoon. He tried so hard to get out of that cage.


We watched this guy all morning until animal control picked him up. He gave us quite a show. He liked to hang on the top of the cage.
